phone

Mainland China phone number segment lookup using an embedded binary database (phone.dat).

The database maps 7-digit phone prefixes to province, city, zip code, area zone, and carrier (China Mobile / Unicom / Telecom / Broadnet and their virtual operator variants).

Key types/functions

• PhoneRecord — holds province, city, zip code, area zone, and carrier for a segment
• Find(number string) (*PhoneRecord, error) — look up a segment by digits
• LookupPhoneLocation(number string) string — formatted location string, e.g. 四川成都(中国移动)
• LookupPhoneLocationParts(number string) (province, city, cardType string) — normalized parts
• FormatPhoneLocation(province, city, cardType string) string — build UI text
• NormalizePhoneDigits(number string) string — strip non-digits
